about me

About 15 years ago, I was asked to make a biodegradable urn for a Buddhist, whose ashes were to be buried in the earth. A tree was planted to mark the place. The urn & funeral were to accord with the principles by which he had lived. A stupa was chosen. I was very touched to hear later how much the urn had enhanced the ritual. I came to realise that here was a unique service which I could offer to others.

Making eco-urns is the culmination of a lifetime's passion for drawing, painting, sculpting & printing; my fascination with exploring different techniques; love of the beauty of nature & a sincere appreciation of the significance of ritual in our lives.
